Father John was the priest at St. Marks Anglican church, a small but lively congregation that always found ways to spread joy and laughter. One day, he decided to pay a visit to the local hospital to see the prisoners there.
As he arrived at the hospital, Father John introduced himself to the receptionist and asked to be shown around. The receptionist led him to the first ward, where he met a group of nurses and doctors.
Father John smiled and greeted everyone warmly. "Hello, everyone! I'm Father John from St. Marks Anglican church, and I thought I'd come to visit and spread some cheer!"
The nurses and doctors were surprised but pleased to see a priest visiting them. They welcomed Father John and showed him around the ward. Father John made jokes and small talk with the staff and even managed to make a few patients laugh.
Afterward, Father John visited the other wards in the hospital, introducing himself to the staff and patients alike. He made a point to talk to every person he met, brightening up their day with his jokes and positive energy.
As he was leaving the hospital, Father John felt happy and fulfilled. He knew that he had made a difference in the lives of the people he met that day, and he hoped that he could continue to bring joy to others in the future.
Overall, it was a great day for Father John and everyone he met at the hospital. Laughter truly is the best medicine, and Father John had plenty to go around.
