The final stop before WWE Night of Champions delivered plenty of action, surprises and chaos as SmackDown came to London.

Ricky Saints Sends a Message to Trick Williams

The show opened with United States Champion Trick Williams celebrating his recent marriage before turning his attention to challenger Ricky Saints ahead of their title match at Night of Champions.

The celebration didn't last long.

Ricky Saints blindsided both Trick Williams and Lil Yachty, leaving the champion laid out and proving he is more than ready for his opportunity. It was a bold statement that immediately raised the intensity heading into their championship clash.

Michin & B-Fab Score Big Victory

Michin & B-Fab def. Tiffany Stratton & Alexa Bliss

The opening match featured four of SmackDown's top women in an exciting tag team contest.

Alexa Bliss and Women's United States Champion Tiffany Stratton looked to build momentum before Night of Champions, but Jade Cargill had other ideas.

As Stratton attempted her signature Prettiest Moonsault Ever, Jade Cargill appeared at ringside and distracted the champion. The interference allowed B-Fab to plant Stratton and pick up the victory for her team.

Following the match, Chelsea Green rushed to the ring with a kendo stick to help Stratton and Bliss, but Jade and her allies still managed to leave the champions' side standing tall.

AAA Cruiserweight Championship

One of the standout matches of the night saw Rey Fenix defend the AAA Cruiserweight Championship against Nathan Frazer.

Frazer came close on several occasions despite suffering a frightening dive that saw him crash into the announce desk. Somehow he continued, earning huge respect from fans.

Solo Sikoa attempted to recruit LA Knight following the collapse of his alliance with The MFTs.

Paige Wins in Front of Her Home Crowd

Paige def. Jacy Jayne

Returning to compete in England, Paige received a tremendous reception from the London crowd.

Jacy Jayne attempted to steal the victory using the ropes for leverage, but Brie Bella prevented the referee from missing the illegal tactic.

As Fatal Influence became distracted outside the ring, Paige capitalised by rolling Jayne up to secure the victory.

Chaos unfolded when Danhausen arrived alongside his bizarre "Legion of Danhausen."

After Los Garza attacked The Miz and Kit Wilson, Matt Cardona rushed to even the odds.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis quickly made an impromptu tag team match.

In typical Danhausen fashion, strange events unfolded as Berto appeared to be "cursed," allowing Danhausen to finish the match with an inverted DDT.
