More than a decade after Rupert Grint last appeared as Harry Potter's loyal best friend on the big screen, the actor is preparing to step back into the famous red-haired character's shoes — but this time, audiences will see him on a Broadway stage.

Grint, who played Ron across all eight Harry Potter films between 2001 and 2011, is set to join the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at New York's Lyric Theatre.

His limited engagement will run from 2 February until 30 May 2027, giving fans a rare opportunity to see one of the original film stars return to the Wizarding World in person.
