Murder Investigation After Body Found in Burning Van in Prestatyn

A murder investigation has been launched after a body was discovered inside a van that was on fire in Prestatyn's Gas Works Lane at around 23:30 BST on Sunday, 4 October, following reports of a vehicle ablaze.

North Wales Police confirmed a body was found inside the vehicle, but the identity of the person has not yet been established.

Detective Superintendent Chris Bell said officers were working to identify the person and establish what happened.

• Was travelling through Gas Works Lane during the relevant period

• Has dashcam, CCTV or other footage from the area
