There have been a lot of transfers made & a lot of money spent. The
window closes on 1st September 2023 at 11pm BST.

Arsenal beat Manchester City 4-1 on penalties to win the FA Community Shield after the game ended 1-1. The new season is underway.

Cup after the game ended 1-1. There is Manchester United have had a
lot of injuries already & not had a good start to the season. West Ham United have started very good. Everton have started very badly not getting a point so far, along with Sheffield United & new boys Luton Town. There have been a lot of injuries already this season throughout the League. a lot of injury time is being added on in games under the new rules to increase in game time which I like.

The new season is underway. Swansea City have not won a League game
yet, drawing 2 & losing 2. Charlton Athletic have sacked their manager.

Max Verstappen won the Dutch Grand Prix.
WWE
They held their SummerSlam PPV which was good crowning new champions.
They have been announcing matches for their Payback PPV next month.
WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk died aged 69. Bray Wyatt died aged 36
which shocked the wrestling family including myself. It also looks
like WWE Hall of Famer Edge has wrestled his last match for the
company unless he signs a new contract.
All Elite Wrestling (AEW)
They have continued their weekly tv shows. They held their All In PPV
at Wembley Stadium London with a big crowd. They have been announcing
matches for their All Out PPV which takes place next month..
