Hello and welcome to the sports blog for May 2023.

Formula 1
Max Verstappen won the Miami Grand Prix. Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix was
cancelled due to very bad flooding in the area. Max Verstappen won the
Monaco Grand Prix.
WWE
The draft took place with a lot of wrestlers moving brands & new
talent called up from NXT to the main roster. They held 3 PPV’s this
month the 1st was Backlash which was very good. The 2nd was Night of
Champions which was very good crowning a new World Heavyweight
Champion after bringing the championship back & also a new Raw Women’s
Champion. I don’t get why they haven’t switched the Women’s
Championships around as it is a bit stupid having the Raw Women’s
Championship on SmackDown & the SmackDown Women’s Championship on Raw.
The 3rd PPV was NXT Battleground which was very good crowning a new
NXT Women’s Champion.
All Elite Wrestling (AEW)
They have continued their weekly TV shows. Some talent have left the
company. They have announced a new show called Collision which will
start on 17th June 2023 it will take place every Saturday. They held
their Double or Nothing PPV this month which was very good crowning
some new champions.
