Here is the sport blog for end of August 2022.

Hello and welcome to the sports blog for August 2022. In this blog we will look at the sports that we have covered along with my own views. We will then tell you what we will cover next month.

Football

Summer Transfer Window - There have been a lot of transfers made throughout the leagues.

Chelsea have spent the most money with their new owners.


Premier League

The new season has got underway. Liverpool have started really badly. Manchester United lost their first 2 games of the season but since then have won every game starting by a win over Liverpool. Bournemouth sacked their manager Scott Parker after he commented about his owners not investing in the club.


Fantasy Premier League

We have once again set up a Private League on the Official Fantasy

EFL

The season is underway. Some managers have been sacked already and new managers appointed. Swansea City have not started the season well with

their results and throwing away points towards the end of the games.


 

Formula 1

They had a summer break and a few teams have announced new drivers for

2023. Max Verstappen won the Belgian Grand Prix.







 



WWE

They have brought some wrestlers back were released in the last few

years. They have been announcing matches for their Clash at the Castle

PPV in Cardiff next month. They have also announced that NXT UK will

be ending and will be rebranded as NXT Europe next year. They have

also announced the NXT Worlds Collide PPV for next month where they

will be unifying the NXT and NXT UK Championships.


 

All Elite Wrestling (AEW)

CM Punk returned from injury he had a match with Jon Moxley to

determine the Undisputed World Champion which Jon Moxley won. They

have continued their weekly tv shows and have been announcing matches

for their All Out PPV
