Here is the sport blog for end of July 2022.

Hello and welcome to the sports blog for July 2022. In this blog we will look at the sports that we have covered along with my own views. We will then tell you what we will cover next month.

Summer Transfer Window

 

Formula 1

Carlos Sainz won the British Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc won the Austrian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen won the French Grand Prix. Max Verstappen won the Hungarian Grand Prix.







 



WWE

They held 2 PPV’s this month the first was Money in the Bank which was

good where Liv Morgan won the women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

then cashed it in to beat Rowdy Ronda Rousey to win the SmackDown

Women's Championship also Bobby Lashley beat Theory to win the United

States Championship. Vince McMahon retired from having any control in

WWE with Triple H taking over creative while Stephanie McMahon became

the chairwoman and Co-CEO along with Nick Khan. The second PPV which

was the first without Vince McMahon in control was SummerSlam which

was very good with some wrestlers returning. They have already started

announcing matches for their next PPV which is Clash at the Castle in

Cardiff in early September.


 

All Elite Wrestling (AEW)

They have continued their weekly tv shows and signing some more former

WWE wrestlers.
