Hello & welcome to the sports blog for August 2017. In this blog we will look at the sports that we have covered along with my own views. We will then tell you what we have covered next month.
Football
Premier League
The new season has begun & it has started good for Manchester United who have won all 3 games they are top of the league also Huddersfield Town have surprised everyone has they won their 1st 2 games then drew their 3rd game. Crystal Palace & West Ham United have lost all 3 games their managers are currently under a lot of pressure but don’t understand why they jobs would be under pressure after only playing 3 games they need at least 10 games before you can decide on the manager. Swansea City have got 4 points out of their 1st 3 games of the season they drew with Southampton then lost at Home to Manchester United 4-0 but it was only 1-0 until the last 10 minutes The Swans had chances in the game but they didn’t take them they then beat Crystal Palace. The Belgian Grand Prix was a good race where Lewis Hamilton equalled Michael Schumacher’s pole record then Lewis Hamilton went on to win the Belgian F1 Grand Prix it was a very good Grand Prix.
WWE
In August SummerSlam happened where all the Championships changed hands accept for the United States, WWE Universal & WWE Championships. It was a good event. Big Cass got injured in a match it is a very serious injury he will be out of action for probably around a year. Then on Raw Alexa Bliss won the Raw Women’s Championship from Sasha Banks. I really don’t understand WWE because every time Sasha Banks wins the Raw Women’s Championship she loses it in her 1st match this is a really stupid idea & it annoys me every time as I am a huge fan of Sasha Banks. I am a huge fan of Bayley who is currently out injured hope she is back soon. They have now started a feud with Kevin Owens & Shane McMahon which is a very good feud but wait to see how long it lasts.
