Changes to Terms of Use & Privacy Policy


We have made some Changes to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy 

  • In force on May 25th, 2018 (therefore allowing for 2 years to adapt to its requirements);

  • The GDPR will be directly applicable in all of the EU (therefore the same rules for all countries), unlike the existing rules under the current privacy directives and European framework;

  • Increased control over personal data for individuals, which allows you to take your data with you and therefore take it to other service providers;

  • Children are subject to additional conditions for data processing

  • Simplifications for businesses in dealing with data privacy.

Real Terryo Group and this website complies to the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and already complies to the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which comes into affect from May 2018. We will update this policy accordingly after the completion of the UK's exit from the European Union.

Real Terryo Group and its Related Bodies Corporate (“RTG”) will try to moderate every post on our page however it’s not always possible and RTLG expect that users will not post any material that is, or could reasonably be seen as being: unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, untrue, inaccurate, misleading, invasive of another's privacy, confidential, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racist, embarrassing or otherwise objectionable to any other person or entity.

Any content that we deem to contravene the above guidelines RTG will endeavour to remove.RTG will also remove content that is deemed to be inappropriate or not in line with the organisation’s values at RTG’s complete discretion. In the event that RTLG does elect to remove any posts or content no correspondence will be entered into.

Competition Terms.

You must be the required minimum age as specified on-air to enter our competitions. Staff of Real Terryo Group and their spouses are not eligible to enter any competitions. Volunteers working directly on the show promoting the competition are not eligible to enter said competition. Only one entry per person is permitted. Proof of making phone call or sending e-mail is not proof of our receipt of your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed.

The closing date and time is as specified in the relevant competition. Winners will be formally notified within 21 days of the closing date by email. The judge’s (Chairman) decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Full details of the prize will be given in writing upon notification. No cash alternative or alternative prize is available on entrants request but in the event of the advertised competition prize being unavailable we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. Real Terryo Group will not be liable for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by any person taking part or not being able to take part in a competition.

Competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity. No responsibility is accepted for inaccurate prize details supplied by sponsors. Use of false name or address, eg name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize. Real Terryo Group reserves the right to oblige any potential winner to provide documentary proof of their identity and address as directed by Real Terryo Group before such person may claim their prize. In certain circumstances, Real Terryo Group shall, at its discretion, require any person to present themselves in person supported by such documentation for identification purposes (We will Not reimburse all reasonable travel costs incurred) prior to releasing the prize. Contestants who are rude, abusive or deemed otherwise unsuitable by Real Terryo Group will be excluded from the competition.

We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. Entry in the competition implies acceptance of these rules. We will keep your personal details for a reasonable time so that we can send you any prize that you have won, to verify that these rules have been complied with, and for accounting purposes. We may pass your details on to our service providers and agents for the purposes of sending you the prize on our behalf. Real Terryo Group may at any time issue specific rules to be read in conjunction with these rules.

 

How We Deal With Complaints and Suggestions, Comments

Real Terryo Group takes all feedback very seriously this is why we have two Different Email Addresses to one for General complaints’ Complaints@realterryo.co.uk and the other once is Customer.Service@realterryo.co.uk and this is for Suggestions and Comments.

At Real Terryo Group we try our best to keep all Customers and Service Users happy. However, if You have already submitted a support ticket and Your complaint has not been resolved to Your satisfaction, or have called the support team and Your call has not been dealt with to Your satisfaction ,then please follow the steps below in order to escalate the issue;

Stage 1: contact us, putting your complaint in writing to the Complaints Department, at: Compaints@realterryo.co.uk

Stage 2: we will respond to your complaint, following receipt of your email. Our Complaints Department will thoroughly investigate any issues raised and propose a course of action for resolution. You should receive our response within Low Priority   - Up To 125 Days Medium Priority – Up To 80 Days   High Priority – Up To 30 Days of us receiving your letter;

Stage 3: if, following our response to You, You consider your complaint still unresolved to your satisfaction, please put your complaint in writing to our  Chaiman's Office via Email To: Complaints@realterryo.co.uk

Stage 4: on receipt of your complaint to the Chaiman, the matter will be thoroughly investigated and we will respond proposing a course of action for resolution. You should receive the Chairman’s response within 14 days of our receipt of your escalation letter.
