June 2020 Around The World Today Series 3 Episode 13 By Terry D

So its is June 2020 and I was thinking to my self we are halfway though the year and it feels like we have really done nothing but that is not really has we have been living though a plague, racial tensions and even Brexit.

but at this point I have not left my house for a day out since March 2020 and the last time I saw a friend in town well that friend has sadly passed away from the affects of coved 19. I have also been deaf last month to due to a inner ear infection and yes I still got my weekly podcasts done.

Schools in England opened back up last week and now to day when I write this the Welsh government have announced that schools are to open back up in wales from June 29th well ok I get this as education is important and Im now thinking back to those of my grate grandparents and grandparents times when they were Children in world war 1 and 2 and schools were closed for the duration what we had then was 2 generations children left behind with none or little education.

Ways to Listen

Now with in May 2020 it has been weird hasn’t it to me it seams to be that the UK Government are either back tracking or just telling lies so take yesterday the Prime Minister sends out a statement saying he is taken direct control of the united kingdoms response of coronavirus well I like to know what he has been doing for the last few mouths. Once again Mr Johnson's failure to punish him, added to his Government's increasingly confused messaging and a decision to ease lockdown despite experts' concerns, has made the PM the target of ongoing criticism.
